Neue U2-Single rockt

Da musste ich mir doch eben mal schnell die neue Single "Vertigo" des am 22. November erscheinenden neuen Albums "How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb" im iTunes-Musicstore ziehen. (Zur Zeit nur dort erhältlich, die reguläre Single erscheint am 08. November.)
Erster Eindruck: Es rockt, wieder mal klare Linien, keine Experimente.
Edge, I must say, is really doing some extraordinary stuff. It's a guitar record. Which is, I think, our first. (Bono) Right now my instinct is to make a very raw kind of guitar-bass-drums, an album with a lot of attitude and a lot of that kind of life force, the vitality I association with guitar bands in full flight. Da bin ich ja mal sehr auf das Album gespannt.
Und ab Frühjahr gehn sie wieder auf Tour. Wie immer ein Muss!
